We all dressed up. Costumes included witches, ghouls, werewolves, skeletons, and a cat. We made scary faced pizzas and decorated frightening cupcakes, as well as playing a few games. We sat round a pretend fire singing a ghost song and told scary stories.

The evening ended with the investiture of four new members. We welcomed William, Greg, Harry and George into pack

The boot jacks we made last week for our DIY badge were fantastic. A very useful gadget for taking off muddy boots and shoes.

Next week we are having an early Halloween party. The cubs have been asked to arrive is a scary costume. Boys who are going to be invested should bring their uniforms with them.

After we finished we played outside in the dark with a very large exercise ball.

Subs for the term will be due. The fee for the four months is £30.

Thank you leaders for giving up your weekend to help look after the cubs. Without you a trip like this would not have been possible.
